Call of Duty has pretty much changed the entire gaming community. It seemed after Call of Duty: World at War came out with Nazi Zombies, there was a sudden craze over zombies. You just can't get away from it now. Modern Warfare 2 started a lot of commotion. The gaming community was torn. Either you loved it or hated it. I personally love it.
The campaign mode I found a little lack luster. It was fun to play through once, but not a lot of replay value. Sure, there are all the "intel" to find but I'd rather play multi-player. Pssh, who buys CoD to play single player anyways?
Multi-player is a great time-killer. There are tons of game modes, including Free For All, Team Death Match, Capture the Flag, Domination, Search and Destroy, among many others. There are 16 maps with the original game, as well as 2 map packs each containing an additional 5. This adds up to a total of 26 maps (and yes, I've bought both map packs). You can also make custom classes after level 5. You can change your Primary and Secondary Weapon and their attachments, Equipment, Perks and Death Streak.
My main set up:
UMP 45 w/ red dot sight
G18 Akimbo
Semtex
Flash Bang
Perks:
Lightweight Pro
Marathon Pro
Ninja Pro
Martyrdom
Killstreak:
Predator Missle (5 kills)
Harrier Strike (7 kills)
Chopper Gunner (11 kills)
This fits my style of playing, which is basically gun it and run it. If I feel like being sneakier, I'll slap on a silencer, Cold Blooded and some claymores. I've prestiged once and hit 70 again. I would like to prestige again but I feel obligated to get as many weapon titles/emblems as possible before reseting again.
Drop me a comment and tell me your personal set-up, strategy and favorite game mode!

Bioshock 2
So, I've pretty much been dying to get my hands on Bioshock 2 ever since I finished BioShock and the other day I finally got it. I've put a couple hours into it and I'm definitely very happy with it so far.
Bioshock 2 takes place 10 years after the first one. Although at the end of the first Bioshock, you (Jack) become a Big Daddy, the Big Daddy character you assume in this game is completely unrelated. You are in search of a specific Little Sister, Eleanor Lamb. Although the setting is different, Bioshock 2 feels more like an expansion than a sequel. Much of the environment seems like a remake of the first.
Game play of Bioshock 2 is overall easy to pick up and get used to. Anyone who has played a FPS can pretty much figure out the buttons without the tutorial. At your disposal is an array of jerry-rigged guns and plasmids, many identical to the ones used in the original Bioshock. Plasmids are always fun to use but I want to see some exciting new plasmids introduced. Even in the original Bioshock, I only used maybe 3 out of all of them. Most of them just aren't useful or effective or are too hard to use. Many of the guns I find are fun to use as well, some of my favorites being the trap rivets, spear gun and .50 Calibur. Of course the main highlight of being a Big Daddy is that massive drill attached to your arm, however this disappointingly takes a backseat for the most part, being rather ineffective against splicers wielding tommy guns. I was glad to find they brought back the research component of the game. A surprisingly fun way to advance your skills hearkening back to one of my old PC favorites, Beyond Good and Evil.
In both Bioshocks, you have the option of being good or evil. You can either rescue Little Sisters or harvest them. Harvesting results in more Adam, however rescuing them results in the occasional present (normally with some Adam). I've decided to go the good route and rescue Little Sisters instead of harvesting them. In BioShock I had harvested some and rescued others which gives a negative ending so I decided to go for the good one this time. So far I haven't noticed a shortage of Adam by rescuing them. My prediction is that it all ends up being the same amount in the end, but who knows?
Anyways, go ahead and post comments and tell me what you think of the "new" plasmids and guns or if you chose to harvest or rescue Little Sisters.
